Hummus tutorial!
I used to work at a place called Atlas in college. One night when we weren’t very busy they let me assist in making the Blackbean hummus. A much smaller batch of the recipe is as follows:
Chop 2 cloves or garlic and about a cup of cilantro, loosely packed, in your food processor.
Add one can of blackbeans and one can of chickpeas, both rinsed.
Add about a half cup of tahini, the juice of 2 limes, a drizzle of olive oil, pinch of salt, and process until smooth.
I like to wipe down the sides of the processor and process again adding enough water to reach the desired consistency. It’s so good and way healthier than the stuff you get from Athenos, Sabra or Trader Joes.
